Pieces from Red Carpet

Assalamualaikum and happy Monday, lovely peepz!
I'm so sleepy right now and I really need coffee. But I have no coffee in my dorm. Urgh I missed home so badly. I didn't get enough sleep since I got back late last night and I woke early this morning.

Let's talk about last night. It's the another most glamorous and marvelous night I've ever had. Ifo and I went to an annual dinner of our college which was held in Grand Ballroom, 1Borneo. As I've mentioned before, "the golden era of Malacca" was likely to be the theme for the dinner. I think it's unique and I can see something different from the other dinners I've ever been, as what I hoped for.

Everyone looked so beautiful and gorgeous. There were people wearing baju kurung, baju Melayu, kebaya nyonya, sari, cheongsam, toga, and all many many kinds of dresses. This is what I love to see on a formal occasion, everybody's dressed up nicely and feeling like a star walking in a hall of fame.

I was wearing modern black baju kurung paired with gold skirt while Ifo's with a pair of red baju Melayu. I wanted him to wear a suit to match mine but he doesn't have black or gold baju Melayu. But it's fine, he still looked handsome last night. I love to see him wearing like that, it's cute. It's like we're going to married. LOL. Kidding. :p
It's a memorable red-carpet moment though.

I adored the way they decorated the hall, the tables, chairs, stage, and all, they're really suited the theme well. No wonder why the ticket's a bit expensive. The performances weren't too bad I think, except the dance performance by my friends, Lizzie and Constance, they're so beautiful.
And the food, well, I'm sorry if you think I was ungrateful. But I gotta be honest. I wasn't satisfied with the food. First we had corn soup with minced chicken, and followed by fried chicken with mango, a big fish with sauce, mushroom and pak choy, and honeydew with sago as a dessert.
I just loved the dessert. But the rest, I'd prefer my mummy's kampung cook.

The only thing that spoiled last night was my make-up. It's too heavy and I don't like it. Luckily before entered the hall, I got the chance to retouch and repair my make-up a little bit. It's gross. I felt like a cake was splurged on my face.

Our table mates weren't the people that we know. They're strangers, but one of them seemed familiar to me. They're not so friendly but who cares. Food was more important for both of us. Hah!
There were also numbers of my course mates coming last night.
It finished quite early so we went back with a little disappointment as we didn't get any lucky draw gifts. :p
Lame. All in all, we're happy and it's a real great. ^^

By the way, thanks to mummy for borrowing me the Olympus digital camera but it looked like doesn't really work good. The pictures are blur and not so nice. That's why I only took fews.

This morning, I got this heck situation. There's no water in our dorm. The whole block had no water. What a nightmare! I can't skip the class because there's a test this morning. I had no extra water so the only possible option I had was go to my sister's place at UA and take a shower there. And that's it, I've done that.
It's was a quick shower till I left my facial cleanser in the toilet. Thank God the traffic jam wasn't really bad.

I'm so tired.

Peace ^^

xoxo
