Assalamualaikum and happy TGIF-day!
Finally, home! What an amazing relief to be home. Like I haven't come home for a year.
Unlike the previous weeks, this week wasn't so tiring and it's a bit relaxing. Except the night part, which I had several sleepless nights during this whole week. Not that I didn't sleep at all, but most of the nights, I was just half asleep. It's horrible.
Last night I suddenly awoke at 3 am. I was sweating and I had this weird back-pain. Am I getting old or what? Then I got difficulty to back to sleep. I can't remember what time did I sleep back. Sometimes I think I'm having insomnia.
Oh I don't know. You have no idea how bad it is to stay awake at the middle of night when everyone's already sleeping. Plus when you're in a haunted dorm. It's terrifying. And the heck part was, when I can't sleep at night, I can barely get up in the morning. Pffft.

Enough said.
Thanks to Ifo for helping me to find hair accessory and jewelery and also for sending me to UA. Half an hour was definitely not enough to survey and buy things. We're in rush because Ifo got to fetch his dad at airport, so we don't have much time and it's the only time we had.
I didn't count how many times I entered and exited the Padini and Parkson since they're next to each other, maybe more than 5 times. Just to find the nice headband or hair clips and earrings to match my dinner dress. My dress (baju kurung to be exact, as the theme is "The Golden Era of Malacca") is black in color with gold details. And I was looking for gold accessories.

I ended up with a headband with faux gold diamonds that looks like a tiara, and without earrings. I decide to wear my own old earrings that night. No one would notice whether they're old or new. This time I want to go simple but nice for a dinner so I can save money. Unlike last year, I spent almost RM100 and above for a dress and hair.
I expect for some kind of ballroom dance like a real prom night. But here in UMS, they don't do ballroom dance, instead they just do the common boring thingies like dance, singing, or drama performances, and the announcement of Prom Queen and King.

Too common and boring. For this coming dinner, I'm hoping for something different and special, so that I can feel that my new headband is worth it. :p
While searching for the stuff, me and Ifo had this little argument because I was so choosy. I admit, I can be a drama queen around him. That's why he loves me, I know. LOL. :p
When I think back about today, it's like we've been shopping like a married couple, without a kid. Hah!
Okay, that's what I call rambling.
Now I'm glad to be home with my niece, Nurul, in the house too. It's good to finally have the chance again to dining with mummy and daddy and to taste my mummy's cook. Also, I can be a sleeping beauty tonight. Oh. There's no place like home.
Peace ^^
xoxo
