In the Middle of Nowhere

I'm back! Indeed, I come back sooner than planned. :p
Actually I went for a camp at ManisManis Nature Resort & Spa, Kimanis. The camp was organized by a school where my mum works and participated by pupils of the school. While mum was on duty as facilitator, I helped her a bit.

It was fun. The kids were really smart and friendly, and the teachers were easy-going and funny. I got into a team to play treasure hunt. Though it's raining heavily, it didn't stop our spirit and it's awesome. We were all soaking wet. My team got the 3rd place. Not bad huh. :p
But heck, I didn't get the chance to snap a picture with them.

Plus, we forgot to bring camera, so we didn't take many pictures.
Well, I'd like to talk about the place. Frankly speaking, it sucks. Seriously. We were in a jungle, surrounded by huge trees and hills. There's no phone, radio and tv receptions. I just worried because I needed to contact Ifo. Thank God, there's free wifi in the lobby. Only in the lobby. Luckily I brought my lappy, so I was depending on the wifi to tell Ifo that I'm doing fine.

It's a nice place though. I love the chalet (yeap, we slept in a chalet, the tents were only allowed for pupils).

This attractive pricing is value for money especially for those who love jungle trekking or bird watching. It's an ideal location for school excursions or company outing trips for team building activities. But there's really nothing much to do there in the middle of nowhere.

  5. I love camping. It reminds me of my summer camp during college last time. The last time sa pergi camping it was on 2008 ikut my mom.

Susah mo camping sendiri2 di sini silap hari jumpa org jahat. Even mo p running pun mo pikir 15 kali.

Anyway, am sure you had a great time kan. Best kan camping and helping mom ni.
