Ifo and I were supposed to be in Monte Carlo yesterday but the flight was canceled, so we went to Antarctica to see penguins.
Literally. :p
I'm talking about movies.
We watched Mr Popper's Penguins instead of Monte Carlo because of the crazy showtime. Well, it's worth it. I love it! Those penguins were so cute & Jim Carrey wasn't that old. He cracked me up! This was my favorite scene. ^^
As for today, I had another great holiday treat with Ifo and his friends, a.k.a The Baks, and I brought Nurul (my niece) along with us. It's a splash time at Kionsom Waterfall!
Since it's only popular among Sabahans, I'm gonna write more about the place to introduce it to everyone. Kionsom Waterfall is located in Inanam and about 45 minutes drive from KK. And wow, the place is magical. It's like the lost world of Sabah.
Though it's not as amazing as Niagara Falls, nature is nature, and it's always beautiful. Once I got there, I was pulled by some magnetic force to seek out the roar. We're truly thrilled.
And the water is crystal clear, and sooooooo cold! Perfect place for a hot day. Thank God it's a weekday, very few people and we conquered the place. We had so much fun.
And I really love the place. I hugged a rock, sat on it, and listened to the roaring waterfall. Such a rejuvenation!
You should go there sometime, go for a dip in natural pool but don't pee in it! Respect the place. That's how we do it in Borneo. ^^
Best juga ni tempat. ;-D Lama sudah sa inda pigi berpicnic ni.. Gonna include Kionsom Waterfall in my picnic list la!

One of my favourite place to swim ni (besides laut/pantai). Macam di Ranau. Kalau ada waterfall kicik2 tepi jalan, memang saya berenti mau test mandi tu. Haha. Pelik kan?
