Things I Admire about Him

Some say that relationship at young age isn't going to last longer. Well, I disagree. We all have our own life to pursue, our own kind of dream to be weaving. And we all have some power to make wishes come true, as long as we keep believing. 

A relationship is never a waste of time if you learn something from it. I've learned so many things from my lover, Ifo. Well, he's not just a boyfriend to me, but he's also my best friend. ^^ I wouldn't be who I am right now if he never taught me about these 3 things.

1. Our wound is our gift

We are not here just for ourselves, but for something much greater. I've learned that there's no reason to give up on anything. Be it study, friends, family or money. I was fragile and I gave up easily every time I failed. But he taught me that my failure is a door to improve myself, and there's always rainbow after hurricane.

2. A positive attitude is a choice

Even as he's dying, he joked and laughed with me. He knew how to handle the stress. And he's so patient with my crazy mood swings. He taught me about love and hatred, that we can choose either one. He taught me to be cool when everyone's so intense about something. When we argue, he always has something nice to say to make me calm.

3. It's not about the money

Yeah just like the Price Tag song. He placed little value on money and lots of value on what really counts in life. Sometimes I thought that money is everything. But for him, the time to be spent with me is everything. He always says something like, "we've spent a day together, we've met, and that's all that matters..I had a great day with you and I'm happy".

He never say these things directly to me, I just see them in his actions and the way he treats me, and also the way he handles things. Thanks, my dear.
