You know that the Japanese are famous for wacky weird wild inventions, do you?
One of them is a vending machine.
Japan really does seem to have a vending machine for everything. Not only snacks and drinks, but also toys, umbrellas, flowers and neckties can all be purchased in vending machines in Japan. And now you may even be able to buy eBooks in a vending machine one day.
The vending machine that dispenses eBooks is made by Glory Ltd., a company that makes ATMs and vending machines.
The question is, how to dispense an eBook since it's not physical?
Well in this case, users just have to insert money into the machine, and the machine will then proceed to dispense a receipt with a code on it. Then they can scan the code with their eBook reader or smartphone, and proceed to redeem it.
LOL. I mean, okay that's great, but isn't it more convenience to buy it straight away from a phone or eBook reader itself? Heee...
What you say? ^^
