Let it Die

I've read several reviews from other sites about Tower Heist, most of them are negative and I don't understand why. Because I've just watched the movie last night and I found it damn hilarious! Good enough to make me laugh so hard I almost cry. :p

I was eager to watch this movie because of the actors! It stars Ben Stiller (I used to call him a museum guy), Eddie Murphy (how can you not love this crazy comedian from Nutty Professor?), Matthew Broderick (remember Inspector Gadget? Oh I love it!! He's aging now..but still cute) and Casey Affleck (I adore his sexy unparalleled raspy voice and he's apparently Ben Affleck's brother).

The plot is cool, especially the heist itself. It reminds me of Ocean Eleven. The jokes keep coming with all the ridiculous absurd funny scripts and I hardly sit still. I catch myself getting ready to crack when it comes to Eddie Murphy's scene. You know, those hyper-exaggerated expressions and loud fast talk. Can you do that?

I highly recommend you to watch this movie. I can tell that comedy is difficult, but when the stars align, it’s a beautiful thing.

Now I'm gonna move into a different and deeper topic. I warn you, it's deeper.

Well, it's typical to think that a relationship that have been steady for more than 5 years will last till the end of time. But it's not true. 

My sister had been seeing her ex for 8 years, then ended up marrying someone else, which is way better than her ex. That's a proof.

Another truth is, love is not enough. Love means nothing if there's no commitment. Same as, why do you even bother to say promise if you aren't sure whether you can do it or not? In the end, you break it, not just the promise, but someone's heart. Don't go around and tell anybody that you've found a true love. You break it. Don't be selfish. Don't be hypocrite. 

It's a wilted flower that you insist on topping up with water. Can't you see? Why not let it die instead? It's unrealistic to expect a relationship to last forever. This is real life, not a movie, not even a love story book. 

I love him. I'm just not in love with him and also I don't love him. I've tried, I've strained to love him but I can't. I'm building a life with a man I don't love, and I don't know what to do about it.

Have you been in that situation? If you are now, then stop right there and forget him!
