Live Forever or Die Trying?

May to September 2011 are the best holidays I've ever had. I spent the whole months with many exciting activities and I miss it so much. Ifo has made a video of our photos collection as a tribute of the holidays. ^^

I watched In Time (starring Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried and Cillian Murphy) today. Cillian Murphy's so cool as the Timekeeper. And Amanda's so cute with the brunette bob hair!

 It's cool, the kind of film that are both amusing and unique. 

Okay, so the good news of the story is, in 2161, you'll stop aging when you reach 25. Whereas the bad news is, once you reach 25, you'll die unless you can recharge your life time. It's an everyday struggle to earn for the poor, borrow or steal time since everything needs to be paid by time. For the rich, they're immortal. The age is frozen at 25, so everyone in the movie is young, even your grandad.

It's a pleasant surprise, I've never imagined the future would be like that. How can you live in a world where time has become the new currency? Workers, taxes and even drinks are paid in minutes and hours. A day would be a lot of time. When you run out of time, you really run out of time and drop dead. Money and diseases are nonexistent. That's crazy! Yet unfair. Wealthy people live longer, poor people are desperate and die early.

The plot is really clever though. It gets me thinking that if that's how our real life works, I'd spend the days chasing time and panting. My life would be hopeless. I wish the future won't go that way. I'd rather choose money as everything.
